10 | Music Therapy Intern Scholarships

The ability to compose compelling proposals is a useful and highly marketable business skill. Applying for scholarships is excellent training.

MusicWorx offers its interns outstanding opportunity to meet scholarship requirements due to the diverse training experiences provided by multiple special-populations health facilities. To date, three MusicWorx interns have applied for and won awards:
Alex Babani | 1998 Brian Smith Memorial Scholarship
Julie Guy
| 2002 Brian Smith Memorial Scholarship
Kimberly Sena | 2002 Edwina Eustis Dick Scholarship
The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) maintains a list of available scholarships and their respective requirements. The scholarship pages, however, are accessible only to registered members. Both undergraduate and graduate students may purchase an annual nonvoting AMTA membership for $70.
